Privacy policy

SnowStreak is built so that we learn as little about you as possible. There is no account, no analytics and no location tracking. This page explains what that means in practice for the app and for this website.

What the app stores, and where

Your training sessions, streak, season dates, season pass price, ski days (date, resort name you type, conditions, rating, note) and settings are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them. Deleting the app deletes this data. CSV export and the recap card are created on your device and only leave it if you choose to share them.

Location

SnowStreak does not request access to your location, and nothing is tracked in the background.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, training reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push token is sent to us.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple (or Google on Android). We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check whether you have an active purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device, your purchase and transaction history, and basic device information such as app version and country. It does not receive your name or email address. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share personal data.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details in server logs to deliver the pages and keep them secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Links to the App Store or Google Play take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply.

Emails to support

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, to data portability and to object. Because the app keeps your data on your device, you control it directly. For purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will handle the request. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.

Children

SnowStreak is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will update this page when the app's data handling changes and change the date at the top.
